These are 1/72 scale decals for Boeing B-52D Stratofortress 55-0677, assigned to the 43rd Strategic Wing, United States Air Force.

The 43rd Strategic Wing was a Strategic Air Command unit based at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, and played a central role in the B-52's combat operations during the Vietnam War. B-52Ds were modified under the Big Belly program to carry vastly increased conventional bomb loads, enabling the massive Arc Light strikes that carpet-bombed enemy positions across Southeast Asia. Flying from Guam and U-Tapao, Thailand, the 43rd's crews flew some of the longest combat missions in aviation history, including the intense Linebacker II operations of December 1972.
