These are 1/72 scale decals for Boeing VC-137C 62-6000 — SAM 26000 — the most famous aircraft in the world, and the original Air Force One.

62-6000 entered service in 1962 and carried every President of the United States from John F. Kennedy through Richard Nixon. It was aboard this aircraft that Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as President on November 22, 1963, in the hours after the assassination of President Kennedy — one of the most photographed and historically significant moments in American history. The aircraft flew Kennedy's body back to Washington that same day, a journey that marked the end of one era and the beginning of another.

Beyond Dallas, SAM 26000 carried American presidents to summit meetings, war zones, and historic diplomatic missions across three decades of Cold War history. Its iconic livery — the powder blue and white scheme with "United States of America" along the fuselage, designed by industrial designer Raymond Loewy at President Kennedy's personal request — became the visual definition of American presidential power and remains one of the most recognized paint schemes in aviation history.
