These are 1/72 scale decals for Boeing VC-137C 72-7000SAM 27000 — assigned to the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB, Maryland, wearing the Secondary VIP scheme of its later career — featuring a polished metal lower fuselage, darker True Blue (FS 15180) upper surfaces, and "United States of America" titling without the Presidential seal.

After the VC-25A (the Boeing 747-based Air Force One) assumed the primary presidential transport role in 1990, SAM 27000 continued to serve with the 89th Airlift Wing in a secondary VIP capacity — carrying senior government officials and serving as a backup presidential transport for over a decade. Repainted from the iconic Robin's Egg blue primary livery into the more subdued Secondary VIP scheme, the aircraft took on a quieter identity that belied its extraordinary three-decade history at the center of American presidential aviation.

The shift from Robin's Egg blue to the deeper True Blue, and the absence of the Presidential seal, mark this as the secondary configuration — the same legendary airframe in its working twilight, still serving the nation long after the spotlight had moved on. Includes two marking options for serial 27000. A fascinating companion to the SAM 27000 primary Air Force One listing and the SAM 26000 secondary VIP listing.
