These are N scale 3D printable files for the Bombardier Shoreliner I Cab Car — the cab-equipped control car of the Shoreliner I single-level commuter train set, built by Bombardier for Northeast corridor commuter rail service. Available in two decal variants: Metro-North Railroad (MNCR) and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT).

The Shoreliner I Cab Car is the control car of the Shoreliner I push-pull consist — equipped with an engineer's cab at the non-locomotive end of the train, allowing the locomotive to push the consist from the rear while the engineer controls the train from the cab car at the front. This push-pull configuration eliminates the need to turn the locomotive at terminal stations, a critical operational efficiency on the busy terminal-to-terminal runs of the New Haven Line between New York Grand Central Terminal and New Haven, Connecticut. The two decal variants represent the primary operators on the Connecticut corridor:

• MNCR — Metro-North Railroad: the cab car in Metro-North livery on the New Haven Line — one of the busiest commuter rail lines in North America, running along the Connecticut shoreline that gives the Shoreliner its name.
• CDOT — Connecticut Department of Transportation: the cab car in CDOT livery, representing the state of Connecticut's ownership of equipment operated on the New Haven Line and other Connecticut commuter services.
