Budd Big Dome ATSF 60

These are N scale 3D printable files for the Santa Fe Railway (ATSF) Budd Big Dome Business Car #60 — a named executive business car representing the middle chapter in the three-railroad life of one of the Santa Fe's former 506–513 series Budd Big Dome passenger cars, as it appeared in ATSF executive service before passing to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe as BNSF 31 Bay View following the 1995 merger.

Originally built by the Budd Company as a full-length dome car for the Santa Fe's premier passenger trains — including the Super Chief and El Capitan — the car featured an expansive upper-level glass dome running nearly the full length of the carbody, offering passengers a panoramic view of the passing landscape. After its revenue passenger service career, the Santa Fe retained the car and converted it for use as an executive business car, renumbering it as ATSF 60. In this role it served Santa Fe officers and guests on executive travel and line inspection trips across the railroad's network in the American Southwest and Midwest — the full-length dome making it an exceptional platform for viewing the railroad's right-of-way during inspection runs.

The car's lineage in full: built as one of the ATSF 506–513 series Big Domes for revenue passenger service — converted to executive business car use as ATSF 60 — renumbered to BNSF 31 Bay View at the 1995 BN/SF merger.
