These are N scale 3D printable files for the Chicago & North Western Railway (CNW) Pullman Plan 4167A 10-6 Sleeper-Dorm #410 "Lake Michigan" — a former Nickel Plate Road (NKP) 10-6 sleeping car acquired by the CNW and repurposed as the sleeper-dorm car for the CNW's executive business train.

The car began its revenue service career as a Pullman Plan 4167A 10-6 sleeper on the Nickel Plate Road — the same car type as the NKP City Series sleepers also available from Out of the Box Models — before being acquired by the Chicago & North Western Railway and converted for use as a sleeper-dorm on the railroad's executive business train. The 10-6 configuration — 10 roomettes and 6 double bedrooms — was well-suited to housing a mixed group of officers, crew, and staff of varying seniority traveling with the business train consist. The car was named "Lake Michigan" — named for the great lake that forms the eastern boundary of the CNW's home territory and the western shore of which the railroad served through its Chicago gateway.

The NKP→CNW transfer mirrors the pattern seen elsewhere in the CNW business train fleet, where the railroad assembled its executive consist from former revenue cars acquired from other carriers — a practical and economical approach that resulted in a consist with a rich multi-railroad provenance.
