These are 1/72 scale decals for Fairchild-Republic A-10C Thunderbolt II 78-0693, assigned to the 104th Fighter Squadron, 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard, in a spectacular commemorative 1930s paint scheme.

The 104th Fighter Squadron is one of the oldest flying units in the Air National Guard, with roots stretching back to the interwar period — making the choice of a 1930s commemorative scheme a deeply personal tribute to the squadron's own heritage. The bold prewar markings — with their bright colors, distinctive insignia, and period-accurate styling — evoke the golden age of Army Air Corps aviation, when pursuit squadrons wore vivid unit colors as a matter of pride and tradition before the drab camouflage of World War II swept them away.

The 175th Wing, based at Martin State Airport, Baltimore, Maryland, is one of the Air National Guard's premier attack aviation organizations, and the 104th FS has deployed its A-10s in support of operations across multiple theaters. The A-10C variant brings a fully modernized glass cockpit, Litening targeting pod compatibility, and precision weapons integration to the Thunderbolt II airframe — making the contrast between its 1930s exterior and 21st-century interior all the more striking.

A wonderful companion to the 190th FS Idaho ANG A-10C in WWII commemorative colors, together offering two of the most visually dramatic heritage schemes ever applied to the Warthog. Please allow some time for decal printing and shipping.
