These are 1/72 scale decals for Douglas EKA-3B Skywarrior 142652, assigned to VAQ-135 (Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 135), operating from the USS Forrestal (CVA-59).

The EKA-3B was the Skywarrior's most versatile Cold War conversion, combining a tactical jamming suite with a hose-and-drogue aerial refueling system in a single airframe. In the skies over North Vietnam, VAQ-135's EKA-3Bs performed the critical dual mission of suppressing enemy radar and SAM guidance systems while simultaneously extending the range of strike aircraft — making them indispensable to the carrier air wing's ability to prosecute the air campaign.

This decal set is a companion piece to EKA-3B 142404, also from VAQ-135 “Black Ravens” aboard the USS Forrestal, offering collectors a second airframe from the same deployment with a different bureau number. Together the two provide an authentic representation of the Black Ravens' EKA-3B complement aboard the “FID” — the Navy's first purpose-built supercarrier — during one of the most demanding periods in carrier aviation history.
